August 26, 2023 - The New York Flora Association awarded their annual Plant Conservationist Award to Gretchen Stevens, a richly deserved honor. Gretchen has directed Hudsonia’s  Biodiversity Resource Center for over twenty years, overseeing habitat maps and resource inventories covering over 2,000 square miles in the Hudson River estuary, Catskills Mountains, and beyond, all the while working with conservationists of every stripe to identify and protect the habitats that make our region vibrant. All of us at Hudsonia are deeply grateful for Gretchen’s unflagging efforts, and for the careful thought she brings to everything she does.
