Gretchen Retires
Dec 2023 - Hudsonia is preparing to enter a new phase in 2024, a territory uncharted since 1990: one without Gretchen Stevens as resolute biologist, educator, and unofficial co-leader of our organization. Gretchen will retire at the end of 2023 after more than 30 years with Hudsonia, but she’ll continue to be active with us as a volunteer botanist, archivist, and biodiversity guru.
